The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) is the government agency tasked to manage and supervise technical education and skills development (TESD) in the Philippines. It was created by virtue of Republic Act 7796, otherwise known as the “Technical Education and Skills Development Act of 1994”. The said Act integrated the functions of the former National Manpower and Youth Council (NMYC), the Bureau of Technical-Vocational Education of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (BTVE-DECS) and the Office of Apprenticeship of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Their vision is The transformational leader in the technical education and skills development of the Filipino workforce.
According to their vision they have some mission to reach that, one of them is by skills development. One of the ways they choose to develop their skills is by following the training program provided by Labtech. Beginning with Mr Daud introduce on Labtech Trolley and all its supporting equipment, did all necessary administrator configuration that they must carry out follow to the manual provided. The session continued by Mr Brad conducted training and learning simulation using TVET LMS. They were invited to did Pre Test, then Self Learning using TVET Digital Content and ended by Post Test.
Mr Daud and Mr Brad explained on how to use Labtech CMS and utilize in their nice automotive workshop and they really enjoyed to bring along the computer tablet to their workshop to prove that Labtech Router Signal was able to reach all the places in their workshop. The final session to the instructor and administrator, Mr Daud gave a troubleshooting knowledge should done if they encountered problems with Labtech Trolley. He made some improper configuration to the router, changed IP configuration, shutdown service on LMS Server and they now understand how to solve them all.
