Electrocardiography (ECG) Training Unit

Electrocardiography (ECG ) is the process of recording the electrical activity of the heart over a period of time using electrodes placed on the skin. These electrodes detect the tiny electrical changes on the skin that arise from the heart muscle’s electrophysiologic pattern of depolarizing during each heartbeat. It is a very commonly performed cardiology test. Labtech ECG Electrocardiography Training Unit is designed to demonstrate the operation, theory, repair and servicing of ECG equipment that used at clinics & hospitals. The unit given the fault diagnosis so as to facilitate the teaching of trouble shooting techniques. Blood Pressure Measurement Training Unit

Blood pressure is the pressure the blood exerts on the walls of the blood vessels. The measurement of blood pressure is reported with two numbers, a systolic and a diastolic number. The systolic number is the top number, which is the pressure on the vessels when your heart is contracting. Because the heart is contracting, the force of the blood flow is higher. Defibrillator Training Unit

Defibrillation is a treatment for life threatening cardiac dysrhythmias, specifically ventricular fibrillation and non perfusing ventricular tachycardia. A defibrillator delivers a dose of electric current (often called a counter shock) to the heart. This depolarizes a large amount of the heart muscle, ending the dysrhythmia. Subsequently, the body’s natural pacemaker in the sinoatrial node of the heart is able to re-establish normal sinus rhythm. Angiography Trainer

Angiography is a medical imaging technique used to visualize the inside, or lumen, of blood vessels and organs of the body, with particular interest in the arteries, veins, and the heart chambers. This is traditionally done by injecting a radio-opaque contrast agent into the blood vessel and imaging using X-ray based techniques such as fluoroscopy.
